Most server-rendered apps don't need a framework — they need a sprinkle of reactivity on a few screens. Micra exists to be exactly that, and the hard part isn't adding features: it's the discipline of keeping the core under 7 KB so it stays easy to learn, easy to audit, and easy for an AI to write correctly.

The project

Micra.js is open source under the MIT license and developed in the open on GitHub. It ships on npm and from every major CDN. There's no company behind it and nothing to upsell — the library is the whole thing, and it's free.

Who builds it

Micra is built and maintained by Denis Fedosov-Ledovskikh, with help from the developers who file issues, send fixes, and review the code. The small surface is a deliberate choice, not a roadmap waiting to grow.
